At Hastings Rowing Club, we thrive because of the belief and dedication of our members, past and present. We’re not just a rowing club; we’re a community of passionate individuals united by the beauty of rowing and the shared goal of keeping our club moving forward.

Today was a shining example of what makes our club so special. A large and enthusiastic group of members came together to give the clubhouse a much-needed refresh, preparing it for the season ahead. Paintbrushes were flying as every corner was brightened up, leaving the club looking fresh and ready to welcome rowers, Image 3visitors, and supporters alike.

While some focused on painting, others rolled up their sleeves to give our Concept 2 ergos a thorough clean. These machines have been the backbone of our training sessions, and after today’s efforts, they’re looking (and feeling) as good as new.

And that’s not all! John Webb worked wonders, restoring the wooden pair to full functionality. It’s thanks to his hard work and expertise that the boat is back in action and ready to hit the water.
Even our youngest member, Jake, got involved, showing that age is no barrier to helping out and being part of this incredible team effort.

We’re immensely proud of everyone who contributed their time, skills, and energy today. Your hard work has made a visible difference, and your dedication keeps the heart of Hastings Rowing Club beating strong.
A massive thank you to each and every one of you. We hope you’ve had a chance to rest after such a productive day—you’ve certainly earned it!
Here’s to a fantastic season ahead—together, we make this club what it is.
